Melamine-faced MDF (Melamine-Faced Medium Density Fiberboard) is a popular economical decorative panel widely used in interior decoration and furniture manufacturing. It takes medium density fiberboard, which is produced from wood fibers mixed with melamine resin adhesive and pressed under high temperature and high pressure, as the base material. The board is finished by laminating melamine-impregnated decorative paper on the surface through secondary pressing. It combines the excellent flatness of MDF and the outstanding weather resistance of melamine finish.
- Product Structure
Base Material: High-density fiberboard (MDF). Made of poplar, pine, eucalyptus and other wood fibers through grinding, glue mixing, paving and hot pressing. It features uniform texture, super flat surface, no knots or wormholes, stable structure, and strong resistance to deformation and cracking.
Decorative Layer: Melamine-impregnated decorative paper with high-precision printing technology. It can simulate various patterns such as wood grain, stone grain, solid color and fabric grain, with full color and clear texture. Firmly bonded to the base under high temperature and high pressure, it is not easy to peel off or fade.
Protective Layer: A cured melamine resin layer formed on the surface. No additional painting is required. It offers excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance and acid and alkali resistance, effectively resisting daily abrasion and stains.
